Halloween Mini Sessions, Cleveland, TN, Fletcher Park, child and family photography

Mimi Kay Photography is offering a very special Halloween mini session deal!  We will be at Fletcher Park from 2-6 PM on October 27th. We will be having people sign up for 15 minute time slots to photograph their child, pet or even adults in their costumes. (price is for 1-2 people or pets, additional people or pets will be $10 per person). We have a set up with some fun fall props set up! This will be lots of fun and is great way to get some awesome shots of your costumes without spending a ton of money. Payment in full will be due by Paypal or cash prior to reserving your time slot. Whitney and Nick's Big Day

I had the privilege of photographing Whitney and Nick Winston's beautiful wedding at Black Fox Farms in Cleveland, TN. First of all, it was a great day for photography. It was just cloudy enough to diffuse the sun perfectly, and it was not too hot or too cool. This was my first time to photograph a wedding at Black Fox Farms and it was absolutely beautiful! There were so many locations for photos, beautiful little gardens, cottages, and landscaping. It reminded me of going into the garden in the book The Secret Garden.  On top of that, Whitney looked stunning in her princess like Alfred Angelo gown, and her girls looked lovely in their Mod Cloth purple dresses. The bouquets were arranged by Whitney's friend Rose Campbell, and looked absolutely gorgeous! Whitney is definitely lucky to have such talented friends. The guys looked equally as handsome in their tuxes from Men's Wearhouse.  But by far, the most beautiful part of the day was the ceremony.  The love that Whitney and Nick had for each other was amazing. Their ceremony was filled with love, the combining of two families and praise to God who brought the couple together.

After the ceremony, the reception was held in the barn at Black Fox Farms. It was decorated with plants from the farm and smelled amazing. The tables and linens were provided by Bradley Rentals. Each guest had their own mason jar for drinks. The food was fantastic and was catered by family and friends. The reception was so much fun, most of the guest quickly joined in the dancing and festivities. The cake was provided by Sweet Art Cakes by Becky (www.sweetartbybecky.com) who is located in Dayton, TN. The night ended with a sparkler send off as Whitney and Nick drove off to celebrate their new life together!

Rack Room Shoes grant presented to Polk County High School, Benton, TN

Congratulations to the Polk County Girl's Soccer team for winning a $15,000 scholarship from Rack Room Shoes. I was asked to photograph to presentation of the check which was given presented by Dan Gourley, regional manager, Rack Room Shoes to Zach Swafford, Save the Athletes Challenge Winner and soccer coach at Polk County High School.

Phyllicia's Graduation from Cleveland State Community College (Mimi Kay Photography, Cleveland, TN)

I had the pleasure of meeting a young lady who is definitely going places! I enjoyed getting to know Phyllicia as I photographed her graduation pictures. She is graduating from Cleveland State Community College. Her mom and dad were also along for the photo session, and you could sense their pride and love for their daughter. Congratulations Phyllicia!!!

Sarah Jane's One Year Pictures, Cleveland, TN, Fletcher Park

I love any time that I get to spend with Bambi and Phillip. They are fun loving, kind hearted people. I have known them for several years, and was able to photograph Sarah Jane earlier this year. I was so excited when the family asked me to do Sarah Jane's one year photos. When taking photos of one year olds, you have to move quickly and take photos even quicker!  Sarah has just learned to walk, and she was enjoying being out at the park.  This little girls big blue eyes and round cheeks will capture your heart!
